On a stormy Saturday afternoon, the AA attended the free Artword Artbar Zineposium in downtown Hamilton. Located right at the corner of James St. and Cobourn, the day was bustling with zine-ists and zinethusiasts despite the rain and wind that lasted forever!!!

AA
had a small round table for our most recent spring and summer issues,
as well as some zines dating back to our first one in 2011! We spoke to
many zinesters and the enthusiastic owners/organizers of the event
itself - Judith and Ron.
There was a bit of a scramble in the beginning since we came in a touch late to set up.
But everything worked out in the end and we had a blast!
We ended the stormy night with a little meeting to discuss the next theme for the fall, along with some tasty coffee and brownies at the Baltimore House. A little bit of doodling helps get the creative juices flowing (the caffeine helped too).
We thought it was such a neat idea that the Baltimore House had doodle books lying around for their customers to use :D
